Blockers are cards in your hand that reduce the combinations of hands your opponent can hold. Holding the ace of a suit, for example, makes the nut flush less likely for them.
The best bluffs block the opponent’s value and calling hands while unblocking their folds — so you fire hands that make it less likely they hold a call.
