Donk (lead) when the board favors your range more than the PFR's — e.g. low connected boards as the BB caller.
Lead with strong hands on boards that hit your calling range (sets, two pair on low boards).
Leading with air on boards that favor the raiser is a leak — check and let them c-bet or check back.

Why: ✓ You have a straight — bet for value and protection, charging worse hands and draws.
A donk bet is a lead by the out-of-position player into the preflop aggressor, betting before giving them the chance to c-bet. It is used mainly on boards that hit the caller’s range harder.
Usually check to the aggressor, but a small donk lead is correct on boards that shift equity to the caller — low, connected flops the raiser misses often. Keep the range balanced with value and draws.
